Wwe looking at Old School RAW, KOTR tourney, Viewers Choice ala Cyber Sunday shows

With the Network and now Peacock, I don’t know why a KOTR or a Cyber Sunday esque show as a PPV hasn’t been done, buyrates for those type of shows were always low in the PPV days so they had no qualms giving them the axe. Now that WWE’s on another streaming service I don’t see any reason to not run them

There’s also been pitches related to the NFL and the start of Sunday Night Football, which would include football-themed matches and angles, and NFL personnel appearing on shows.

Another idea that there’s been is a “wrestling World Cup” featuring talent from across all of WWE’s brands.

all it amounts to is a lame king gimmick that ultimately goes nowhere

only a small handful of wrestlers made it work but that was a long time ago

if they make a women’s KOTR, they’d probably give it to chuck cause you know they just can’t help themselves
