I do think Jasper is gonna be a star, this shyt might be good for a video package if he ever becomes a great star himself

He does look a little emotional though when it comes to criticism not gonna lie

This is the problem with this show, they keep trying to make everybody mean.

You need meanness in a wrestling character/gimmick + in the ring work. Mick Foley one of the nicest people of all time. Cactus Jack and Mankind mean SOB's.

i mean, you can literally find examples of other wrestlers doing what they claim they want him to do.

Like, if "grit" is supposed to be a crystal clear concept, surely you can show what you mean to somebody else with decades of wrestling film to pull from.

Maybe they should show that then. What the show is conveying is this "figure it out on your own" stuff. I can only go off what they show.

again, sometimes its 100x faster and easier to literally show some people what you want. All that "find if from deep within" bullshyt is goofy. There are thousands of hours of wrestling to pull from. And yes, you can in some sense hold some people hands during the process.

Repeatedly saying "grit" and "be intense" is vague lazy instruction.

Train how you play.

Grit Determination Competitiveness Heart Work Ethic etc etc... you either have it or not. Some people need it coaxed out of them showing a video of someone else's isn't going to work tbh. Fight or flight.

Tyra saying exactly what i'm saying. They just want people to be "intense". Stupid shyt.

Psychology. We've all watched enough TV show and films when the actors have phoned in the performance and it looks like im only doing this for the cheque. Pro Wrestling doesn't have cut and a retake you live and die by how the crowd reacts. People come to see a fight and if you don't have the intensity to make it look like a fight then what's the point?

Out of the women, it's Tyra Steele, Bayley (who's gonna have to change that name ), and Zena are the standouts by far. P-Nasty is cool, but The rest are kinda generic- they'd be Tegan Nox status.

Far as the dudes... Jasper and Shiloh. Nobody else is showing that much. I don't know what BJ Ray does in the ring but I suspect that his shyt-talking will get him far. The Holyfield kid is gonna get a chance and he has a look, just need to see him do something. Booker is pulling for Jasper big time, that's dope.
