Naw MJ having final say made that doc not authentic
What do you think they held back on then?

They addressed the gambling, the drugs, the lack of social justice efforts on his part...there's not really anything else MJ had "controversial" that was worthy of going deep in.

The actual last season. I’m sure Mike rip the fukk out that team in practice ala Kobe that last season. What the players were saying didn’t match him being a mean person. I’m 100% certain he had many blow ups that last season in practice, before & after games.

“The Last Ride” is the equivalent to Jordan’s “The Last Dance” if you like it or not.

All these years Taker has been VERY protective of his character and rarely broke kayfabe on camera. The closest we got to him being “normal” was his American Bad Ass character.

Like the Jordan doc, this is the first time we have EVER seen Taker be completely stripped of his character and is just himself. We are seeing never before seen behind the scenes of Taker that they have had in the vault for YEARS. And he is being very candid about stuff which is something we NEVER thought we would see.

For a wrestling fan, this is GOLD.

The first 2 episodes was GREAT, and honestly it should be nominated for some awards. But you already know it won’t :shaq2:

My only complaint is that they are aren’t going completely into his history and not doing flashbacks to certain eras like the Jordan doc. For example, hearing his opinion about the Ministry gimmick, his mind frame on the Big Evil era, his best matches, etc.

But other then that, so far this doc is great.

And if you can’t appreciate that, then idk what to tell ya :yeshrug:

We need someone who is going to be brutally honest and not humble. Rock too humble. Austin always just mentions that he was a "mechanic" and sells himself too short in ring wise. There's only one who'll call it like it is and pump themselves up... The First Dance (1984 to 1992) with the HitGOAT
