WWE has managed to kill Bayley's momentum on the Main Roster

NXT Takeover Brooklyn 2015. Sasha Banks vs Bayley, seemingly regarded as new peak for Women's Wrestling in WWE, these two put on a classic and finally had people respecting Women's Wrestling. These two surely seemed to be the future of the business.

Fast Forward to 2017 and Ric Flair's daughter and a blonde bombshell from Ohio are the face of their respective divisions, yes Naomi is still the champion and an absolutely deserving one but we all now the end game here, to make Charlotte the face of the SmackDown Women's Division.

Bayley debuted at Battleground 2016 and received a huge pop, fans had been begging WWE to debut and they got their wish, fans saw her as a potential female John Cena when it comes to the Children.

Boy did that turn out to be inaccurate as abysmal mic skills and inconsistent booking would eventually make some fans turn on Bayley. She went from being the Woman that ended Charlotte Flair's PPV streak and winning at WrestleMania to losing a completely one sided feud to Alexa Bliss. Two feuds that were both the same, making fun of Bayley for being a fan. Bayley said last night in a backstage segment that she watched clips of Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, and Steve Blackman, yet when she gets the kendo stick, she freezes up, and the Woman that beat the over pushed Charlotte twice, just froze up in a match against the 5' Alexa Bliss, is it Keep Ya Head Up or Hit Em Up WWE creative?

Alexa has been constantly improving ever since she made the main roster. I remember everyone was mad that she got picked over Bayley during the draft, but then Alexa showed why she belongs. She's tier 1 on the mic compared to all the other women, and she's gotten a lot better in the ring since her NXT days.

She's a 8 on the mic, but cringe worthly in the ring. She makes the Bellas look like Dean Malenko

Off topic but why does Alexa always get a pass? I'm a big fan of hers but it's like everyone is blaming either creative or the other wrestler for putting on a bad match but Alexa always gets a pass.

I've noticed that for awhile now...

Her fans are turning into Dean Ambrose fans. I say that because it seems like no matter how bad he was/is, his fans will excuse it somehow.

What excuses are people making for her you really think anyone would of been able to save that horrible this is your life segment.

Fans hate those type of segments and tune them out they didn't learn there lessons with the old day garbage. They even had Bayley on the ppv acknowledged how trash that segment was.

She is no Sasha,Charlotte,Becky in the ring but she has had to me anyway decent matches.
I no she get hate because everyone thinks she hurt Naomi when it was an accident.

Just like everyone was saying it was Emma fault when she got hurt when it was a freak accident.

Everyone on here was talking about she was trying to sabotage Naomi when the match wasn't even as bad as everyone tried to make it out to be.

Bayley's character had no longevity. They milked it for what it was worth but it's over and done. She has to turn heel or drop the hugging and be a more serious character.

Just got around to watching this... body language is a killer.

You could tell pre match that Bayley was not rocking with any of this at all. There's a moment before she does the little inflatable arm taunt she does in the ring where it looks like she's dejected at how her character has been assassinated over the course of this storyline and feud. Then she looked even moreso after the fans started booing.

I saw the same as well. She took a deep breathe and looked at the crowd but without her usual enthusiasm. After the match her pre match reactions made a lot more sense.

The biggest problem with Nakamura is that they have him cutting promos, which is far from what he should be doing. I don't understand that the WWE brings people in because of what they were doing best, and start having them do the opposite when they actually get to the WWE. It's dumb as hell.

Bookin 101 is to accentuate the positives and hide the negatives, but WWE just tries to fit everybody into their preset box regardless of whether it accommodates their strengths and weaknesses. And then wonder why barely anyone gets over.

Charlotte being overpushed was always a made-up narrative to begin with. Just beards mad that she was trading wins and losses with Sasha instead of always losing. Char has lost all the time, tapped out regularly etc. The only thing she had was the ppv streak, which WWE stupidly threw in the bushes before they even got much heat out of it, put Bayley over clean on a non-big 4 PPV and hurt all parties involved in the process. And as OP said, that same Bayley that dispatched of "overpushed" Charlotte clean , just herself lost clean and badly to a heel after being dominated in the buildup and ridiculed on air by multiple voices in the company.

Bliss is the blonde that went from champ on one show, went to the other show and immediate took over and was made champ of that one too. Not Chargoat.

There isnt even any honest argument to be made otherwise.

As for Bayley, its clear now that they've soured on her. This feud was so bad its almost like shes being punished for something. Is she somehow being blamed for the This is Your Life segment? lol Makes no sense.

I wasn't shocked at all when Alexa got to sniff the championship faster than Naomi ever did.
Now Naomi might lose it to somebody that should be a jobber (Lana) in the MITB match.

Charlotte is superior to all these bytches(except Naomi ). Wrestling wise and promo wise.

If Charlotte looked more pleasing to these dudes, the passes she would get.
Hell, they give female fans a hard time about Roman, but they do it all the time to the female wrestlers. I remember there was a time that every female fan was called a "ring rat."
