I'd love to know WWE's way of thinking. Clearly a company with a hell of a lot of clever people working for them (I say clearly due to the huge success they've had in the past) however they seem to intentionally put out a horrible product, it just doesn't make sense.

They've backed themselves into a corner with the hell in a cell type of matches. Now yes, they'd done just about everything you can do in terms of throwing someone off/through or bleeding massively. I like that theyve severely restricted blood because it would make it REALLY matter in hell in a cell. They're better off doing away with the concept or just using it ONE time a year not a PPV but one match if they're not willing to loosen the restrictions for one night.

It'd be like being in a straight up kinky relationship . .. Like down for just about whatever whenever however then go off to Bible camp for the summer, come back with a change of heart, immediately try to scale everything back to second base while hoping for 3rd and expect to get anywhere near the same type of enthusiasm after that.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying... shyt is legit flabbergasting to me.

I don't know if it's just that Vince is getting senile, or that people with bad ideas have more creative control now? (Maybe I'm just an a$$hole, but everytime I say that my mind goes to Stephanie).

basically y'all miss the blood

IMO, a little crimson goes a long way.

You don't have to go fly off or thru the cage, but a little bit of blood can accomplish all that's needed for a HIAC match.

Use a blood capsule and smear it on the face for all I care. It's just the visual that helps suspend the imagination

Pg guys are much more talented than Attitude Era guys..that's the board gimmick. So what went wrong with these "superior workers"? Lol. Always the excuses.

they're so good, but yet you won't drop $10 for the Network

Agreed.

Only stip match that still holds weight is a MITB/Ladder match.

We just know the violence won't be the same, but the truth is the wrestling product carries the brand now, so they might wanna revolve the product more about in ring action.

That Ambrose/Rollins match was worse than their previous 2 matches in my opinion. You could have done that a 2/3 falls match and it would have been more enjoyable than the clunky spot match it was last night

Without Undertaker at Mania, have a HIAC match at Wrestlemania every year as tribute to him. You can award the match to the Hottest Angle at the time or maybe Two legends having one final go around. You replace the attraction of Taker while honoring him.

So no one liked either match I gather? Or is this just overall commentary on WWE in 2014?

Personally I liked both. They weren't 5 star classics but definitely around 3.5 or 4 star level.

I'm not even against using it more than once a year, but it should only be used for the most hated feuds, and like you said they should loosen the reigns for those few times. When was the last time a HIAC was used for a really heated feud? Taker/Edge at SummerSlam?

this would be too much like the problem now. If a feud is really hot and it was the blowoff, fine, but I wouldn't want them to make it an attraction match. If anything they should scrap the MITB ppv, since there's only one champ, and make that a WM exclusive again.

The Undertaker and Triple H Hell in a Cell was pretty good but that's because they disregarded the chairshots to the head rule and they also busted one another open the hardway. They were potatoing each other like crazy. It wasn't that anything they did was even that dangerous either. They just did the best they could to make everything seem legit. They didn't rely on overly contrived spots.

I don't feel like that match being in the cell made any difference. As far the violence the could of ramped it up after everything that happened between them I was expecting an all out brawl. I would be fine not seeing blood if the match stipulation made a difference.

In today's corporate controlled environment that is far more sensitive to worker safety, I just dont think having employees mutilate themselves with razor blades is gunna fly. I hear you guys, but I think you're gunna have to let the blood stuff go. Im sure shareholders and executives are the ones making the call here, and telling WWE no blood.

yeah, I get that. But like i said earlier, Use a blood capsule or something. It'll look real enough if you do it right.

I'm not asking for a blood bath. But something needs to be there. Even Hogan bled at WM 7.

Not asking for this:scusthov::scusthov:
