yea for those who are interested in seeing the boxing match as well, they are almost guaranteed not to interfere with one another so you'll be good .... SummerSlam will be over by 8:30-9pm (Vegas time) ... and the boxing main event won't start until at least 10pm (Vegas time).. so even if you're there live, you can just walk across the street lol.

those boxing and UFC main events are always late as hell for the Central and East coast time zones.

It's being reported they are trying to end SummerSlam early enough so people can get to the fight.

Note On How WWE Will Handle Summerslam Being the Same Night As Pacquiao Vs. Spence . - Wrestling Inc.

Yeah, that wont happen with a 8pm eastern start. SummerSlam will be no less then 3.5- 4 hours, which puts the end at 11:30-12 midnight. Thats when the Pacquiao/Spence fight will be happening.

They should have started the show at 7pm eastern, to be done by 11pm. Even still, I dont know who would pay those boxing ticket prices to have to hustle out of SummerSlam to make it over to T Mobile and get to their seats, potentially missing the fight in an early knockout. The stadium and arena are 1.3 miles away. Thats a 30 minute walk. Would not be possible.

Nope. No boxing championship fight has ever started at 1am eastern. The PPV is usually off the air by then.

Bad decision by WWE. This will bite them in the ass.

This gonna be interesting.

If vince going head to head with boxing then he must know that brock, cena, edge, heck maybe even Goldberg coming back lol. Stack the card up as much as possible. No one tryna see mid card talent challenge for titles in the 2nd biggest ppv of the year lol

I looked up the start time for Pac v Spence and the entire card should start around 5pm Vegas time, same as SummerSlam.

It was stated the Main Event might start at or past 9pm (PST).

So my guess is Vince is going to want to have SummerSlam go from 5pm to 8pm - 8:30pm.

Even if that happens it's still going to be a mess for anyone trying to go to both. :heh:

Maybe vince is trying to get permission to air the bout at summerslam on the big screen:ohhh:

I don't know how any of that works but imagine the fans getting the chance to watch SummerSlam, and the bout at Allegiant Stadium on the big screen at little to no extra cost :ohhh:

To be fair tho, is there a large overlap between WWE and boxing fans?
