Makes sense. NOAH is trash and loves to whore themselves to other companies. If they rebrand to NXT Japan, I would cry laughing. Misawa-san didn't die for this. :mjcry:

Such a petty move considering Impact was just working with them. Why not work with NJPW?

Unless they think they can buy Noah and take over Japan like they did in the UK.

Working with New Japan isn't exactly in WWE's best interest. Their game plan has been to prop up shytty promotions to try to elevate them to the level of the top indie promotions, so instead of an Us vs. Them happening, they get a bunch of "our soldier promotions vs them"

That's how I perceive their moves at least.

Oh yeah I see what their doing. Their gonna try to prop up NOAH so that New Japan has to focus on the home territory and will drop the expansion plans.

To me it's so easy to see through it but Evolve, Progress, ICW, and NOAH have all fell for it. Soon they'll be dictating where NOAH guys can wrestle.

Yahoo Japan is saying it's a one time thing, though they may be talking about just Hideo working NOAH.

Amazes me that despite all this talent, all this ability to network around the world and get fans to see it and another avenue for the wrestling fan (something more traditional), that we don't have a true major second North American promotion yet. No one will ever truly beat the WWE, but man, there's some good money out there, I think.
