It really is baffling. WWE produces at least 7 hours of content per week (Raw, SD, 205/MMC, NXT), but the way they book the shows, you'd think the powers that be are perfectly fine with audiences watching maybe an hour of it total.I just don’t get Vince man. I just don’t understand why u decide to do a brand extension and then get mad when the other show is doing better. So instead of making better storylines and pushing other superstars. You purposely sabotage the other show just to make the main show better. Like does Vinny Mac understand that he gets paid either way?

raw especially, can only be three hours if there is a brand split

women need to get their own show and only make special appearances on the main show

There is enough talent, they refuse to use them, some wrestlers haven't been on TV in weeks, they book terribly with the constant rematches.

The thing that blows my fukking mind is they literally did the brand split to get smackdown over. SDs ratings were never as good as raw so Vince wanted to change that. So SDs ratings went up after the draft and then he changes everything cuz Raw is his baby. Makes no sense
Vince needs to do raw and let Steph, trips and Shane do SD and have a lil Monday night war type rivalry. I know they're on different nights but they can still do a ratings battle

I think it’s more about Vince trying to establish his “flag ship show” as a good product than trying to sabotaging SD.
But they don’t realize that accumalating all that star power doesn’t mean shyt without a proper creative direction.

I think Vince should have went all the way and made Shane & Stephanie legitimate commissioners and have them hire the writing staff for their perspective shows, make Raw & Smackdown into real promotions and make WWE into the NWA. The very real life competition would lead to the best tv shows possible and the hardcore fans would have sky high investment in every twist and turn and wonder what it means. If you do everything half assed, the result will be the same.
They don’t let them cook at all! On social media and the wwe network shows like ride along, a bunch of those guys on the roster show far more personality and charisma than they ever do on tv. You never know what a guy can do til you just do it, sometimes. With a brand split like they did, why couldn’t they say put Xavier Woods in the title mix for fast lane. New Day throwing pancakes at teams, they aren’t doing anything, why the fukk not? See what happens.
