As previously reported, the ongoing lawsuit by WWE doctor Chris Amann against CM Punk and Colt Cabana regarding statements made on Cabana’s podcast in November 2014 was set to go to trial soon. According to Ringside News, the trial for the case is set to begin on May 21.
The report indicates court documents filed on June 27, 2016 that had this date. Information has been exchanged, and a disposition was filed by attorneys for Dr. Chris Amann on April 5. There was a previous that the lawsuit would be settled before trial, but that never occurred.
