Lucha Underground is now WWE canon since Penta debuted and was mentioned as LU champ and I assume will end up under WWE video library. If Penta had showed up in NXT first, you can be sure they'd be doing LU rip off angles.Bring back Lucha Underground

To preface what I'm going to ask, I don't follow AAA at all; I know Konnan loves himself some anti-Mexico stables, Triplemania is full of fukkery, and that Del Rio and El Hijo del Vikingo are there along with a clown stable.
Reading up on the company, how much actual value does it have outside of WWE probably turning it into NXT Mexico so it can get a foothold in the country?

Far from an expert on lucha too, but I think the main value is getting that foothold in the country with people with inside knowledge of a business that has it's own unique challenges and ways of working. How much of a success or a failure it will be is a complete unknown, imo. I could see any scenario possible tbh.
