I purchase it, play it for 1-2 weeks, and then stop playing it until they release a new character I want to try for 20 mins. Rinse and Repeat.

There is something with the gameplay where it's just not fun to me

For me it was setting up the universe, i'd set up my universe and after spending so much time doing that i wouldn't even want to play a match.
