I think both Sony & Microsoft said it had something to do with copyright issues and spotify, notice that whenever you save a video they mute the music. They do it for all sports games now.

Because the game is actually fun and playable, all that stuff you mentioned is in 2k15-20:mjlol:.

The no AE Rock & HHH I get going annoyed by, but Sting is an active competitor for AEW, no shyt he would've been gone. Everyone who was signed by AEW in the last 6 months to a yr are gone save for Keith Lee & Kyle O'Reilly

My review

-From what I played so far I can say that gameplay is solid on this game and I can give 2K credit on that end. Which makes the game competitive in certain ways. Adding in a tutorial mode is one of the smartest things that devs did although they could had made it optional to use either the new control scheme or the older one from 2K19.

-The server errors & ULA bugs are ridiculous! The first day I had this game I had the user agreement screen pop up every time I started the game. Then getting into community creations is a headache.

-Universe Mode is basically the same as it was in 2K19 even though they got rid of the promos. I'm not complaining. I like that you can pick a superstar and do a whole solo run in this year's version. Another thing that I like is adding/removing the number of matches on ppv cards.

-MyRise is an interesting game mode imo that could be used as a season mode in future games with the option of adding in a story for an actual superstar and while keeping the same concept of using a CAW.

-Showcase/GM mode are the weakest points in this game being that one mode is just bare bones w/limited options and really I wasn't interested in playing a Mysterio showcase due to some of his best matches (WM 22) missing. I played the first match and the objectives seem simple but the control scheme can turn them into a headache. Showcase not worth the effort imo. [You have to play showcase to unlock ppl like JBL, Eddie, & HBK]

Overall - 6 -6.5/10



The next installment of WWE2K should just eliminate showcase altogether and combine GM Mode w/Universe Mode or make it an added option. There's no new match types like War Games, Buried Alive, or Special Referee. The roster feels so outdated due to last year's multiple releases it's ridiculous. I don't get why they removed guys like Luger, Sid, & Angle. Then leave out current ppl on the roster like Carmelo Hayes, Omos, & Zelina (who all have been on the WWE roster). The DLC Packs somewhat makes up for this but even some of those seem lackluster. In a lot of aspects, this game was half ass done.
