Very first match simulated on universe mode. Finn balors entrance interrupted by Damian priest. After a minute of attack, both guys stand in the ring just staring at each other and nothing happens. I had to manually control priest just to get this going to end the segment.

Very 2k20 ish.

Haven't touched gm mode yet. Universe mode I dabbled with it but haven't started a show yet. Myrise is cool but I was never a fan of career mode in these games to begin with.

So far I'm enjoying it. Controls were a bytch at first but I'm getting used to it.

No idea about years ago, never played years past. But this year seems really free lance. So far it feels like you can do whatever you want. My 2nd match and I chose to team up with hbk against road Dogg and and rookie, and 3rd match was teaming with Alexa to face asuka and rookie because they offered it

I’ve got it on PS5 and it’s dope.

Doing the My Rise deal. Lost to Drew and got drafted to NXT, then had Jeff Hardy turn heel on my ass before I eventually turned heel too.

It’s fun AF to play, really appreciate the callbacks to the 2K19 story arc in My Rise.

The combo system is alright. I find myself instinctively trying to use the old controls to hit grapple moves but am slowly getting into the habit of hitting a few strikes before hitting O

It'll be interesting to see what unlockables will be in my rise. No one has a concrete list of talent that could be unlocked on it.

I don’t know if it’s the controls, or what but this is coming off as trash. I need a few more hours with it for a final verdict, but doing everything from a grapple and me just trying to shake the previous games controls got me out here bad.

Trending on Twitter early in the AM. What I'm seeing is getting me hyped. Mostly favorable reviews from the community. Waiting for the critic reviews now. Think i`m copping Friday

It's still got some things that need to be patched later, but VC really stepped up the quality with this one. Which honestly should have people even more pissed at them for 2k20. Graphically there really isn't much of a difference between current & next gen. The entrances also feel more like real life than just them using a static angle.

Now I see why drew gulak hasn't gotten released yet.

He would make a great addition to Alpha Academy, and Angle could be their mentor.
