Deal breaker. They purposely didn’t let this info out because they knew the backlash would overshadow the so called upgrades. Literally 90% of my time in these games goes toward creation, the entrance are huge part of making your character unique. That quick selection shyt don’t cut it.

I feel like they are forcing the game to be just as uncreative as the show is now.

Pathetic. They had 2 years to make this game and they still can't seem to get basic ass shyt out. I haven't played a WWE 2k game since 2k20 but I can only assume advanced entrances weren't a problem before 2k20

I was looking forward to supporting 2K22 because I'm a fan of the series, and I was excited about the head of the dev team being Black.

Well if you want it to be realistic, only having 10 people fight for two titles, is exactly how it is on tv. WWE shows can only focus on the main title and the womens title, Nakamura had like two IC title matches during his whole reign. Since the draft SD has only been interesting when Roman is on TV, they haven’t even don’t much with the Usos lately. This mode will let you be a booker in WWE but with all the restrictions that you would have if you actually worked for Vince lol.

It’s like WWE doesn’t want to give you the opportunity to do a better job of putting on a show than them.

Yuke's for the most case did the majority of the work going from 2K15 to 2K19 being their last game they worked on. Visual Concepts start working on the games by themselves starting with 2K20, but they used the 2K18 build, instead of the 2K19 build.

This is starting to look a little rough. The no advanced entrances thing is trash...no getting around it. I was hoping that they would improve the feature and actually allow you to carry a championship with your custom entrance, but they removed it altogether. I can move past it if the gameplay is on point, but I can't blame folks for viewing this, and the limitations with GM mode, as deal breakers.

i actually think the game will still be solid at the very least better than 20. 19 gets a lot of love deservedly so but 20 being trash really helped that narrative.

Positives is the game looks great. Models are way better. Gameplay and camera angles on those entrances are piff. Plus can’t go wrong with the updated rosters. Even the released wrestlers are still a welcome addition for fantasy reasons.

negatives is GM mode will be pretty bare. And universe is the same. Sans the promos which honestly was trashy. As long as it’s playable it’ll work howoand that superstar mode should be pretty dope.

reys showcase is garbage

The advanced entrance being removed is baffling but i do remember it always breaking the crowd reactions. Advanced entrances were noticeably quiet. It’ll suck for the individuality. Personally I be skipping them joints after a while. But with entrances looking so damn fire this year it will be missed.

so it’s like good shyt and bad shyt. Just gonna be a matter of everyone’s preference at this point.
