Is it true the cpu automatically grapples you? like as in no punches being thrown?

It's not your ''pick and play'' type game, but when you know how to play, the game is fun as hell.

Yes, there's always a ''collar-elbow tie up'' before any action. Punches and kicks thrown tho.

I changed my mind. I'm buying it. I watch my cousin play 2k17 yesterday and see how much fun they had with CAW and things like that made me rethink my choice.



I haven't made a caw in YEARS. I haven't played season/career mode in YEARS all I would play would be universe mode. You have use ur imagination with these games

2k18 was actually good, but it wasn't until after all of the damn patches they kept releasing. I've officially retired it though since I'm getting 2k19 Friday.

I always believed with wrestling games, simpler is better. I know in today's age where games generally having 100 controls and "simulate reality" as much as possible, but examples are just spamming a button to kickout of a pin instead of having to time a button press.... Less mini-game stuff I guess... You can still make gameplay versatile and have it easy to figure out. Another example is the whack as submission system in UFC games.

Something to change the pacing and to really incorporate teamwork. The really haven’t changed the system of tag team moves since smackdown: here comes the pain, only adding tag team finishers in SvR 2009. It’s stale.
Incorporate teamwork how? They added hot tags in 09 and I don't see how you can really expand it. What needs to be changed is the submission system, because both QTE & analog systems suck. I'd rather they go back to the random button mashing days.

That's why HCTP is still the GOAT wrestling game, it was simple but the little tweaks to the gameplay made it addictive.

Anything that doesnt require playing an actual match has always be 10/10. CAWs, universe sim (at times)...

I'm not paying 60 dollars just for that though, big ripoff. The main purpose of the game is to have matches, and that aspect is 0/10, after 2 weeks with 2K17 I had no will to play a match, online was even dead so can't get fukkery in that way either. And after one month CAWs/Universe gets old.
