This also pretty much rules out any hope of there being more wrestlers on the disc. What's that a drop from 80 to 60?

DB is already in the game, now that i think about it the Usos are too, maybe this is alternate attires to fit that time frame which in that case we dont even need to download them because its not like their moveset has changed any nor are 2k gonna change taunts or anything.

DB is already in the game, now that i think about it the Usos are too, maybe this is alternate attires to fit that time frame which in that case we dont even need to download them because its not like their moveset has changed any nor are 2k gonna change taunts or anything.

Those games were the best of both worlds. A legends roster and a current roster. You can't have 30 legends one year and then 5 the next year. Obviously people are gonna expect a legends roster every year. It's a gigantic step back. There isn't even that many more current guys this year than last year either. It's about the same current roster with none of the legends.

They only covered the first two years of the Attitude Era. There is a ton left to cover with the next three years, adding guys like Angle, Rikishi, The Dudley Boyz, Hardy Boyz, RVD, Tazz, Steve Blackman,Test, Albert, D'lo, Saturn, Malenko, Viscera, etc. Then there's the Hogan Era, Ruthless Aggression Era, WCW, and the Monday Night Wars. The past has barely begun being explored.

Lastly, people who want the current roster will buy the games regardless. Legends fans aren't going to buy a game with barely any legends at this point.

Austin, Michaels, Booker T, Kevin Nash, and Ric Flair are the only legends confirmed so far unless you count modern Rock as a legend. I'm sure we'll get retro versions of a few guys as well, but that hasn't been officially announced. We don't know what CAW will be like this year, and people like me don't use CAW's at all. There is nothing to gain from having less legends. There was like 40 current male wrestlers in the game last year, and theirs like 45 this year. That's not worth losing an entire roster's worth of legends.

This is a joke. DLC should be strictly for special features and updates. I can't understand how they get away with this

Because people buy it.
The power lies in the hands of the consumer.
If they believe they can bend you over the table to nickle & dime you without you putting up too much of a fight, they'll do it because it's more cash to be made.
They've assessed this model and decided it's profitable for them.
The day people refuse to purchase titles from companies who charge full price but deliberately cut content out of the product for more money down the line, is the day things like this will cease to happen.
Don't hold your breath on that happening anytime soon, though.
