Yeah, these games just aren't designed for competition.
I enjoy them too, but for short periods. I`d literally kill for the N64 type wrestling games updated to this generation of games.

Agreed. Especially matches that are ranked, guys just want to win at the expense of even having an actual match. I've had longer load times.
On a separate note did any of ya'll ever play WWE 12 with friends on the same console? I brought it over to a buddy's last year and it was 4 of us. They don't mess with wrestling now but were big on it during the boom period (90s-Attitude obviously). It was the first time I played a wrasslin' game with a group in maybe a decade I think. It was the most fun I've ever had gaming with friends in as long as I can remember.. Everyone was enjoying it, #fukkery everywhere. My one buddy set another friend up for the people's elbow. When he came off the rope I was able to hit him with the sweet chin music right before he nailed it. We lost our damn minds
Thats where these games suit best with multiplayer. Hopefully we can pull the same off online with 13'

Yeah, I remember my fondest memories of the N64 games was playing them with my best friend and just doing what we called "nwo beatdowns".
Just having fun fukking around and beating the crap out of dude, tornado tag team matches was the best.
