Black Widow was just a meh movie like Antman. WW1984 was just trash, and i forgot it was even in the 80s like 5 minutes into the film. complete waste of period theme.

I never saw the first WW but the sequel wasn’t that bad to me

then again I find both leads to be fairly attractive, and enjoyed the Pedro Pascal performance, even though the story was lacking

shyt is Last Airbender status on here though

If you could only see one of those of movies, i feel bad it was the second one. First movie was classic imo

The concept of someone trying to manipulate the wishing stone and all the damage it could do, Diana being forced to choose between her one true love or her ability to protect the world, Barbara being jealous of someone like Diana, etc - there's a good movie in those concepts, it can be done.

The issue is WW84 dropped the ball on all of them :hhh: each one was rushed, sloppy and patched together in a way that made little to no sense.

Black Widow wasn't quite Winter Soldier, but you can tell they're cut from the same cloth. It did a good job of giving an OG her sendoff while setting up the deck for a new star. Pugh's Yelena is gonna be on our screens for the next decade.

I agree conceptually WW 1984 is kinda intriguing I see what they were trying to do. But yeah the execution was horrible.
