That shyt served its purpose at the time. Its easy to knock it looking back but it gave people some positivity in life.![]()
it was a great time for hip-hop. dudes were trying to up their vocabulary and shyt. they made some great points in the interview about how people would hear all these 'esoteric' references in a song, and want to find out what it all meant. I know that was the case for me as a listener

It was strikingly obvious that GZA was hanging out with funboys. Very bad for his image to be seen with these types of people. He should dissassociate himself from this project completely and just release some dark matter albums.
