I like Run the Jewels but this is a mismatch. Better to pair them with Boot Camp Click, Tribe Called Quest, Lost Boyz, EPMD

Edit: truthfully, It should be Wu-Tang Clan plus separate sets by Ghostface, RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Cappadonna, Redman (he ain't Wu but he's like Wu adjacent at this point). And they should just do mostly medleys. They can definitely fill a solid 2 hours of bangers front to back if they only played 1-2 minutes of their classics. Just keep it pumping and switching up over and over.

Is this supposed to be their final tour or something?

They are getting up there age wise and its going to be more and more difficult to travel as a group and perform with the energy that a WU show requires. Touring is not as fun as a lot of people believe it is, even more so once you become a "family man"

Can see this as a one last time thing...

RZA always said he wants to follow the example of rock bands that stay touring into old age. If they follow the example of The Rolling Stones, every tour for the next 20 years will be promoted as their "final tour". I can definitely see them slowing down though. Like they could do another Vegas residency, one off shows, and obviously solo shows.

Plus the press release says its "the start of their final tour" which means they will probably add dates and keep going for a few years like they did with the Wu/Nas tour.

I'm not mad at Run The Jewels, although I would rather just see El-P solo at some point. You have to think of whos still active. BCC could work, but hard to organize, Erick Sermon hates touring so no for EPMD, Tribe are finished for obvious reasons and The Lost Boyz are not nearly as popular as Nas or RTJ to pair with Wu.

Griselda would be perfect. Redman is a no brainer. I mean honestly, gather up the best 5-10 Killa Bees is a no brainer but whatever.
