I gotta say tho...GZA sounds finished. No interest in his voice whatsoever, and whenever the beat slows down he sounds worse. I like a lot of rappers with monotone or "low" below average energy voices - DOOM, Ka, Roc Marciano, etc. But there's a difference between the almost folksy rap style of a Ka (seriously, dude reminds me of Dylan no lie) and the no energy/care of GZA since Pro Tools.

i hear you, GZA is one of my top 15 all time it sucks that he sounds so lifeless lately. if Dark Matter is similar im not sure how much replay it could have for me, ive played PT a good amount but mostly because of the solid beats and the fact he only drops every 3+ years

but its a theme album, so you just hope he puts that little bit of extra effort into the delivery as well
