Solid album. Meth brought the heat throughout the album.

Meth absolutely killed the album. There were solid performances throughout the whole album. For all the b!tchin Rae did, he actually spit very well on the album. Crushed Egos is one of the best tracks on the album.

In a way, Rae was missed on the album but at the same time he wasn't. Meth more than made up for it and so did Deck.

I've not listened to the album since around the time it came out, might have to dig it out later.

enjoyed the live band feel of Mistaken Identity/Crushed Egos, there were a few that i didnt like tho (Preacher's Daughter)

the sample-based tracks were spot on to me, Necklace/Miracle/Pioneer the Frontier were great tracks. title track and Reunion were good soulful joints to close it out on

7/10, i bump it alot. but between the members and fans constant complaning, it should probably be the last.

Beats aren't bad, just not what people want on a Wu album. Alot of the live instrumentation is lush and pretty dope. And Rae should shut the fvck up. Why would anybody in their right mind care what Rae says about an album? I love Rae but this n!gga was going around calling FILA a classic :russ:
Like I been saying, Rae NEVER put out a HIGH QUALITY album without direction from RZA. NEVER.

If nobody cares about Raes opinion then what does it matter?

Type of shyt you rob nikkas to.

I do agree Meth and Deck stepped it up. I really wanted this shyt to stand out but knowing the back end of how these guys deal with eachother...ain't no love left left like back in the days, people grow apart and that's evolution. but they come together for business and all the bytching hurts the final product. sometimes I wish RZA stops trying to be the abbott and goes to democratic vote lol

Good album, should have been better. I respect RZA's artistic progression but Wu fans want that hardcore Wu sh!t. That sh!t that 4th Disciple still makes. There was talks about the Wu members recording songs together, without RZA, while they were on tour in Europe earlier this year. I hope that materializes into a group project with 4th, Bronze Naz, and other We Element-like production. I bet 4th still :snoop: when he thinks about what RZA did to his Miracle beat. That song had potential to be one of the Top 3 best Wu songs in the past 10 years.

The thing that still upsets me is Raekwon again sabotaging the project by going on this one man campaign sh!tting on the project before it even came out. 2 group albums in a row. Rae just needs to shut the fvck up about the sh!t, especially if he knows that he's gonna jump on the projects anyway, as long as the money is good enough. He swayed alot of people's opinion on 8 Diagrams and he did with this one too. And why talk sh!t about brand quality when you put out subpar/average sh!t like FILA and you're quick to hop on any Tom, D!ck or Harry's track, regardless of how mediocre it may be, as long as you get a fat check for it.

All in all, I like Better Tomorrow. 3.5-4 mic album to me.
I didn't like 2 songs everything else was piff but i agree with everything you said, very on point. 4 mics straight crack and Rza should collaborate with Black Milk, he really mastered incorporating live instruments

Style ain't left field no more. Need to keep it like 36 but come at production from another angle.

And some of them verses were less than lazy. RZA micromanaging might be the issue or them nikkas just some old mules that can't take direction no more

Like the album tho despite the fact

What I never understood is why can't them nikkas put it aside for the damn Group albums? They complain about RZA bu they all have their solo careers they can rap until their hearts content and A&R their own solo albums, have all the artistic freedom they want.

RZA CREATED the group. He's the damn Abbot, you really think he's NOT going to micromanage his CREATION:mindblown:
