Good album, should have been better. I respect RZA's artistic progression but Wu fans want that hardcore Wu sh!t. That sh!t that 4th Disciple still makes. There was talks about the Wu members recording songs together, without RZA, while they were on tour in Europe earlier this year. I hope that materializes into a group project with 4th, Bronze Naz, and other We Element-like production. I bet 4th still
when he thinks about what RZA did to his Miracle beat. That song had potential to be one of the Top 3 best Wu songs in the past 10 years.
The thing that still upsets me is Raekwon again sabotaging the project by going on this one man campaign sh!tting on the project before it even came out. 2 group albums in a row. Rae just needs to shut the fvck up about the sh!t, especially if he knows that he's gonna jump on the projects anyway, as long as the money is good enough. He swayed alot of people's opinion on 8 Diagrams and he did with this one too. And why talk sh!t about brand quality when you put out subpar/average sh!t like FILA and you're quick to hop on any Tom, D!ck or Harry's track, regardless of how mediocre it may be, as long as you get a fat check for it.
All in all, I like Better Tomorrow. 3.5-4 mic album to me.
