These dudes ruled in the 90s. They along with New Edition set the tone for the whole RnB style. After they dropped their huge selling 95 album,the 'show,the afterparty,the hotel',they just faded away.
Why? Stylistically they were trendsetters,commercially they were still hot;IIRC,the last album sold over 10m,btw this was before downloads ate into labels profits. So what happened to Messrs Kci,Jo Jo,Mr Dalvin and De Vante? Look at the s hit we're forced to suffer since they went ghost-various fakkit looking groups I won't name who should be called "Various Negro Pillow Biters Ululating and Grunting!!"

same here, i've always wondered what the complete version of those songs sound like, i hear bit of a rock influence in them

i always thought and wondered if "good luv" was more of the direction they were gonna go for with their sound; more guitars etc for their 4th album

as much as i liked the show, the hotel, the afterparty, i think the move away from that sound and change over to more guitars would've been a great look because it would've shown their genius in evolvin' into somethin' else ("good luv") that they could've or did master

"good luv" is a very underrated gem in their catalog

well, that's obvious because it's soul train. but i'm talkin' bout the performance as a whole. whether they were a bit tipsy or not, they seemed to be able to hold their own and givin' the fact that they've only done handful of performance since the 90's with the exception of performin' at a grammys after party a few years back and here and there over seas for the last few years
