The issue with No Limit was quality control.

They actually did put out a lot of good music in the mid-late '90s, but they put out a lot of embarrassingly bad music too.

Cash Money, because they only rode with Manny Fresh (who is criminally underrated) made a lot less music, but a higher percentage of it was good.

Too many obvious haters (just guessing, from the east probably) never really listened to NL and/or never heard the really good stuff (96-98 NL with Fiend, Mac, Mia, Mystikal, C, Slim, Bleed) while shytting on the entire label
