Guess i shouldve specified. I was talkin post songs from normal drill rapper. Of course a christian rapper and singer wouldnt rap and sing about "killin nikkaz" "robbin nikkaz" & "stompin nikkaz out":pachaha:

And yes, those beats SANS LYRICS takes the mind to a dark place subconciously.

No, you were talking about the music

And the point is exactly what i said: you cant write lyrics that uplifts and motivates the black community over these dark trap beats thats the trend in modern-day hiphop. These beats wont let the subconcious go to a place of positivity.

I mean, do u have an example of positive, inspiring lyrics over a trap beat?

Post a few please

Now on the other hand, the mind AUTOMATICALLY goes to a happy, positive place with a beat like this:

You wouldnt be able to rap about "killin nikkaz" over that beat because the mind wouldnt let you.

Of course you could...you can put any kind of lyrics you want over any music

Teacher: alright class I want you to make a video about somewhere you went on vacation this summer!

Slim Jesus::patrice: Well I did go to my parents condo in Chicago this summer. :gladbron: I'll make a rap video just like those guys there, they're so cool.

:ucku:

:smoker:

:bustback:

:jawalrus:I'd better put a nice disclaimer at the beginning though to make sure Mrs. Abigail doesn't think I'm actually up to these types of activities. She might send a bad note home to father.

Naw, the beat i posted earlier would be considered "the opposite of gangsta" that young buck is still an aggressive sounding instrumental.

These are better examples. The mind wouldnt go to a "stomp that nikka" place if beats like these were given to even the hardest rapper

Trap beats automatically takes you to the darkest corners of the mind.

Dog, I already showed you people doing christian rap over trap/southern hiphop beats. Music being in minor keys have nothing to do with demonic, violent lyrics.

Dude, thats dikkriding whats popular and shamelessly attempting to spread your message to a different audience. Mary Mary over a trap beat doesnt sound rite AT ALL. You and everyone else knows it. Violent, negative lyrics are overwhemingly over certain types of beats for a reason. Simple psychology. Certain frequencies, tempos and sounds can put the mind in a certain subconscious place, which in turn can affect ones mood.

Whatever it sounds like will depend on the ears and taste of the listener but the main point is that you can easily have positive content over trap/drill beats. The same way it once said that you shouldn't mix the sacred church/spirituals with secular blues and jazz......

We'll def have to agree to disagree cuz i have no idea how positive, uplifting, motivating messages can be affectively spread and conveyed over beats that sound like these.

Doesnt match. Beats like these activate the dark portion of the mind
