Saw one on my way home an hour ago, hovering over Harrison/Newark border. I thought it was a plane at first until I realized it wasn't moving as I got closer. It looks like the countless planes that fly around this area at night, gives off the same blinking light, but flies much lower.

It's nice of the aliens/enemy nation to mimick FAA compliant, small aircraft beacon lights to, avoid midair collisions.
