According to Malaysia's economic growth, literacy ~93% and poverty rate in the poorest state being decreased from 19.7% in '09 to 6.1% in '12..it's not exactly a third world country by definition.

Damn brehs, today was the least I ever checked any updates on MH370. I literally would be refreshing reddit/airliners.net/twitter, etc. almost by the minute, while at the office for all of those 17 days. I'd say it was close to obsession.
I guess today I knew there would probably be next to no news anymore. Thing is now I feel guilty/selfish, like I'm forgetting that there are families right now grieving over the loss of their loves ones, yet I've sort of dropped this thing because of lack of news.

The ocean is huge. Add that to the fact that they were initially focusing the search in TWO totally different locations for a long time and it's very plausible that will take years to find this shyt.
Remember the Air France incident a few years back. They happened to come across debris the 6th day in but it wasn't until two years later that they found the bulk of the crash on the sea floor.

and who is going to pay for this search? at least with air france they stayed on course, this plane who knows
at some point next month there going to have to stop the search for a couple of months because of the weather
if that debris they keep seeing on the satellites isnt the wreckage you might as well say fuk it
with the conspiracies for a minute guys... the way they determined that the plane fell down in that area does make sense... they will find the plane, it will just take along ass time... they should bring in the peeps that found the titanic but im guessing they will show up after.
