@RealAssanova shoulda been posting in here and not TLR

Shyt i was wondering when you'd chime in bruh.

Dis is some sad, depressing shyt fam. I mean, the Asiana one last year was bad but this...:sadbron:

This is almost strikingly similar to AF447 :lupe: What's your take though? I'm on the fence. I don't wanna say bomb and i hope it was nothing mechanical, but at this point, no one can really say. They haven't even found the wreckage yet and its 1:27pm in Ho Chi Minh. I was tracking 3 flights circling around the eastern tip of vietnam on flightradar24.com. Seems to me they were tryna pick up that ELT signal but no dice. Plus the weather is reportedly clear outthere...so wassup with the SAR?

never thought i'd see the day a T7 goes down though :to:

:bryan: LOL I was actually wondering when I posted that if I should've explained or not. I took my phone off airplane mode and I was gonna try to time it where I could hit the send button right before the plane hit the ground and hope my phone would've had a signal by the time we fell that low.

:snoop:

I know, I know. I'm stupid as fukk. :skip:

Decatur where its greater
You'd think with today's technology... blackboxes, internet and satellites, gps, etc. It'd be virtually impossible for a plane to just up and "vanish"... the fukk

I'm no expert in the air traffic control system over in Southeast Asia but I know about the one here in the U.S. (I'm an air traffic controller) and the whole fukking system is old as shyt. We're still using ground based radar and chances are that plane went down over water when most planes are usually non-radar meaning they aren't being tracked by anything besides some flight strips. There is GPS but who knows what type of system failure occurred if any.

With that being said this shyt is still EXTREMELY rare. There is a satellite system in the works now but still a few years out I think.

There is soo much conflicting reports coming out of there. Flight radar said it was lost 40 mins after departure, while others are saying 2 hours. Officials there also don't seem 100% on the exact whereabouts of the crash site. :snoop:
