Africans need to see themselves as black before anything else. Not Ethiopian,Nigerian,Hutu or Tutsis, etc.

When they slaughter each other like this, it’s because they see each other’s differences instead of the greatest thing that makes them exactly the same.

Black was an identity created by Europeans and forced on people of African descent. Its ridiculous to think Africans will forget how they've behaved for milennia simply because Europeans created a new racial paradigm and projected it onto the rest of the planet.

- Ethiopia and Eritrea fought a nasty war for years, finally got some leaders who decided to squash it, and one of them got a Nobel Peace Prize.
- Ethiopia decided to build a dam on their branch of the Nile, infuriating Sudan and Egypt downstream who feel entitled to the water for their own uses...even though they're downstream. Egypt in particular swore there would be problems - read, intel operations to destabilize the country - if the project continued.
- Ethiopia's current leader defeated the previous regime(largely made up of Tigray people) to be come leader; that previous regime had been in place during the wars with Eritrea.
- As the previous regime, the Tigray people in question had friendly relations with Egypt and other Arab nations, and they still have access to arms from those sources.
- The dam in Ethiopia gets finished, and like clockwork there's a Tigray attack that pops off that's meant to destabilize the current leader and his government.
- Current leader teams up with Eritrean leader(keep in mind the Eritreans remember the war and who drove it for all those years) and go in to teach the Tigray a thing or three. Atrocities reportedly follow, fingers get pointed, the usual. It also doesn't help that the Tigray home area is in a part of Ethiopia that shares a border with Eritrea.


All because Ethiopia dares to want to better itself, husband a natural resource and learn to feed itself...and a past regime is being gassed up to take power back.

I read also that Ethiopia gave up land and thus made themselves landlocked thus unable to have a Navy due to Eritrea.

Typically its covert cacs like yourself who hurl these type of accusations on a brotha like me who has an EXTENSIVE TRACK RECORD of pro-black conscious content. I'm literally the leading authority of black history on this site (whether its in regard to Ancient Egypt, The Moors, Africans in America before Columbus, etc.). If you actually read and posted in threads on our true history you would know this.

I not only educated a bunch of ignorant negroes on the fact the "Arabs" in Zanzibar were black. But I made the same argument then about not picking sides in conflicts between black people. If its white on black violence (like aparthied South Africa) then hell yeah I care. But if black Africans are enganging in tribal beef, that ain't my concern.
