besides the issues with Dre over releasing Grown Up to the radio he created alot of bad blood with industry producers by not clearing the beats he was getting for those free mixtapes he was dropping. he had made some nice connections with producers from Detroit in Black Milk & Young RJ, at least they knew what the intended use of their tracks were for, I wished he would've continued working with them but dude has fallen off the face of the Earth. Caltroit was ridiculous, him and Black had spoke of making it a series but...

Shame too, lamont is dope.Grow up is piff. The street albums he released stay in my rotation.

****** Noize is still crazy to me, it Showed so much potential for Bishop to Blow
Yo that N!gger Noise tape had some of the best production and original content on ANY westcoast mixtape dropped in the past decade.

Focus and em laced him with HEAT on That shyt

Word..

It's funny how he was shyttin on Stat Quo for never gettin a release on Aftermath and next thing you know... :heh:
****** noise is amazing. I was hyped for his album back then. Dres just a mess,no idea what hes doing.

Bishop And Stat Quo were crazy talented, anyone calling Stat Quo wack obviously hasn't heard his mixtapes.

Stat Quo and Em falling out also added to him getting dropped

"106 and Park, you mean I gotta sit right here
nikka please, this is some bullshyt here" :russ:
Em said "Wait, I got something you should investigate"
He send me a song called Dance On It
I told him I liked it as long as he stayed on it, with me
But he thought it shoul be mine alone
So I recorded it, next day we was both on the phone
He told me "Stat, this is SMASH right here,
no brainer this song could change your career"
Then Em came to LA on a private plane
I remember this day like my Son's first name
What a song, Em, 50 and Dre, Stat Quo, Ca$his also featuring Jay-Z

It sounded like magic to me
Em, Dre, Paul and Stat couln't pick what the single should be
Same meeting I said a joke to Em,
He took it the wrong way, I apologized the next day
He said we was cool, but he ain't accept it
Watched the sales of my project, he was done giving effort"
He aired shyt out on Dear Summer Pt 2
Sounded like some Shady shyt on Aftermath :pachaha:

Funny shyt is, Dre sounded hype as fukk on The Future

When I first heard this:

Bishop Lamont ft Rass Kass & Royce Da 59 - Go Hard (Produced by Black Milk) 2008 - YouTube

broke my cars speakers

that Caltroit tape was >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

real nikkas know Bishop had some heat

I almost shed tears listening to So Cold brehs.. :to:

That Martin Luther king intro set it off
He spit some real shyt

"Uh, they call us gangstas
We claim we gangstas
But what about them slave ships that came to take us?
Ain't been no criminal act greater than that
Not since Christ's crucified worldwide, believe that
Huh, shyt
I'm talkin' 400 years
I know the ocean's overflowed from my blood and our tears
While shackled on them ships and brought on to this bytch
They, kept us in them chains and beat us with them whips and
shyt ain't really changed so nikkas don't forget
Cause nikkas still with chains it's just now we push the whips
So close, yet so far away" - Bishop

The joint I still can't get over not having is Don't Know The Code

I lost my mind when the snippet leaked :ooh:
