there’s a reason Nintendo survived the GameCube and Wii U generations because even when their main console was lacking in sales they were making up for it sellin 200 dollar handhelds. There was never a time where sony wasn’t selling a massive amount of hardware. When PS3 was slacking ps2 and psp were on fire

i’m mad because im adding context to the chart posted in the OP? There’s other reasons for the sales to trend like they did, it’s not a standard foot race. It also explains why xbox simply just releasing a console first next generation isn’t the fix people think it is.
