29 years, he probably just learning how to use the internet, he lost

Fitting, that your sig reads: "Some of y'all are just miserable people living miserable lives and want everybody else to share your misery."
Only someone as miserable as you must be would joke about something like this, and conclude that he "lost"..as if YOU would've done things soo completely different had you been the 16 year old in that interrogation room.

Beverage Fridge, 3rd Row!!
One thing, the Brooklyn DA deserves some recognition. He is black and came after this guy:

Former Brooklyn DA Charles Hynes slimy reptilian motherfukker who served from 1989 - 2013

The one who beat him in the most recent election, Kenneth Thompson is black:

and hes actually putting forth an effort to clean up the office.

He's fighting back against the most controversial laws in NY, marijuana possession that has jam packed the system with frivolous charges, and messing up the lives of minorities which account for 87% of the arrests. He announced that the DA would not prosecute marijuana possession for up to 1 ounce.

Now hes looking into over 100 convictions that were alleged to be marred with corruption.

:salute: to a brother making a difference

Shout outs to that brother, he's doing amazing work. People dont recognize just how powerful the District Attorney is, they have so much discretion it's crazy

:wow:

And that's just 1 borough, in 1 city.....imagine whats going on nationwide in the justice/prison system with black folks

That's EXACTLY what I always think in these cases! There are countless, I mean literally countless more. Especially in the Southern prison system.
Black men disappear in those Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi prison systems.
But not only that, there too lies a high number of wrongful convictions, silenced by corruption, power, and fear.

Especially considering the NYPD has heavily corrupt in that era, they said the conviction was coerced, they most likely beat him to get it.

This has happened 1000 times too many, especially when DNA testing was not as sophisticated. I can't imagine spending 30 years of my life in prison for someone I didn't do.

are they paying the man back for them 29 years?

Less than two months ago, Jabbar Collins won 10 million for a NYC wrongful conviction (he spent 15 years) so there is no way this man won't get a settlement. It's still so messed up though.
