Things just ain’t the same for rappers
All these rap characters are coming with albums
Filled with whack s--t that they pulled from they trousers
when its that s--t that makes us look clownish
to all the other listeners who listen around us
u know the white people who already hound us
denounce us as ******s with really no talent
believing were wasting time and triggering violence
and you can’t blame them for wanting to blame us
when you have famous people forgetting they famous
and going up in clubs and pulling out gauges
or shooting up drugs til they’re damn near vein less
and other stupid things that are so outrageous
which to me completely seems so outrageous
to have a chance to blow and find ways to waste it
to act like an animal out of its cage is
the greatest way to look like an anus to strangers
who see the cage as the hood, the animal as the thug
and figure that things would be good
if the thug just stayed in the hood
but shouldn’t he have a chance to go? he should
but if he wanted to really grow he would
and though he very well definitely could of made it
he didn’t savor each and every minute, the business
needs singers to raise their digits not misfits
who are gonna bring in heat
that’s not good for business it only brings police
and that leads to police stopping you in your jeep
license and registration, please step out to the street
and if u reach a little to deep for your wallet
the police may let creep two little rockets
one thru the contact lens in your optics
the other thru your Star Tec phone in your pocket
then you lie in a heap, a victim of carnage
on a back street where the police say you started it
trying ya best to grab ya next breath
cuz with what’s left you feel you’re near death
