I'm gonna sound negative because of the downturn of AEW and WWE spreading it's wings, I'm thinking this is the year the "success" plateaus.
WWE is getting fat and has no reason to really "come with it."
- No significant NXT call-ups (No one in NXT has mainstream appeal, really) (Bron Breakker didn't even have the "Brock Lesnar" spot like ya'll think Oba with)
- John Cena overstays his welcome (buries ppl, needlessly wins World titles)
- In-ring wrestling slips in quality because of the lack of house shows and ppl getting out of shape
- WWE doesn't take advantage of Netflix and the product feels just like it did on USA/Fox
- People are gonna beg for both shows to go back to 2 hours each
I can see WWE plateauing due to oversaturation alone
11 main roster titles
6 hours of main roster shows
Two 2 night PLEs (and maybe more in the future) + rising ticket costs
Their one saving grace though is that they’re doing a shyt ton of international shows now.
