I'm gonna sound negative because of the downturn of AEW and WWE spreading it's wings, I'm thinking this is the year the "success" plateaus.
WWE is getting fat and has no reason to really "come with it."
- No significant NXT call-ups (No one in NXT has mainstream appeal, really) (Bron Breakker didn't even have the "Brock Lesnar" spot like ya'll think Oba with)
- John Cena overstays his welcome (buries ppl, needlessly wins World titles)
- In-ring wrestling slips in quality because of the lack of house shows and ppl getting out of shape
- WWE doesn't take advantage of Netflix and the product feels just like it did on USA/Fox
- People are gonna beg for both shows to go back to 2 hours each
- Randy Orton becomes the biggest heel in WWE by EOY25
- Uncle Howdy storyline is completely scrapped by Summer...Bo Dallas cryptically tweets starting retirement talk
- Jacob Fatu becomes one of the best promos in the WWE
- Alexa Bliss returns finally...and flops miserably
- Shelton Benjamin gets a title and holds it for quite some time.
I hate how right I was about the Wyatt6.
Like, they debuted on a BANG! and until today, it's almost like they don't exist.
I lost my brother (suddenly), so, I 100% know what Bo feels. But, I never thought HHH would actually be able to pull it off.
John Cena Wins #17 at Summerslam Beating Gunther
Ricky Starks Joins NXT & Wins the NXT Title by October
Austin Theory turns Face
Big E Returns to in ring action
WWE Women’s division gets a complete overhaul
CM Punk win the World Heavyweight Championship
A lot of these are a given, except...I think Big E is done-done.
And I still need to see Rhea put someone over (lemme be nice, she definitely made Nia look legit despite her beating her) ebfore I take anything involving WWE women's wrestling seriously again.
Wargames exposed what HHH actually cares about. Once again, the only story was Liv/Rhea.
Jacob becomes tribal chief with Rocks support
McIntyre wins royal rumble
KO beats Cody at Rumble due to interference from Orton
Cena feuds with Gunther and loses clean
Complete overhaul of women’s division. NXT has too much talent.
Tiffany cashes in on Rhea
Melo and Trick feud again on main roster and make up. Become tag team
Charley Dempsey gets heavy push in NXT. Becomes NXT champion
Montez Ford still doesn’t get a singles push
Bianca turn heel finally. She injured Jade. Starts stable with Lash and Jakara
I wish I had as much faith in new shyt happening.
My prediction; the main event scene is the same people as last year.
And the mid-card will continue not to exists as every one else is booked like jobbers (aka, no real story, they dissappear week to week).
TriKKkle H does not have a black male or female wrestler hold a main singles title all year
Apparently "it's a numbers game...there's not enough black talent in the WWE"
Omos ("Big men in modern wrestling don't work anymore" but Braun fukking Stroman is still on our TVs in between his long injuries [I was I could find that post])
Apollo
Montez (I gave up on the Profits)
AD
Bianca
Jade
One of the Party girls (Got called up to make a brat [Rousey] happy and job out)
R-Truth (court jestor)
Woods
Kofi (Put to the Tag Team title on them you coward)
Melo (Put the US Title on him you coward...#1 Pick and fighing with Stroman old ass)
B-Fab
Michin (I guess)
All talented people.
Zoey Stark championship!
Yea, the Speed Champion
Bron Breakker wins World Heavyweight Title
Cena's last match should be him failing to win the title, again, against Bron.
WWE
- CENAWINSLOL gets turned up to 11 and he buries everyone he feuds with like he buried Austin Theory
- Judgement Day FINALLY ends
- With secondary women's titles, the Women's Tag Belts are finally scrapped
- Jordynne Grace holds one of the main roster women's belts by the time 2025 ends
There's no point in women's tag team wrestling (nowadays) on the main roster other than to "Here, nikka, damn" spots like 5 v 5's.
Jordynee = Women's US Champion (book it)
Judgement Day been going on for 3 years...and the most memorable era was R-Truth. I liked Damian's Champion run, but, it came after months and months of breakup teases and Priest failing to cash in (a tired wrestling trope).
