Haven't read any of them myself so I'm not too sure. I have heard bad things about Bruce's book though.

Bruce Hart - Straight from the Hart
Joe Laurinaitis - The Road Warriors: Danger, Death, and the Rush of Wrestling
Missy Hyatt - First Lady of Wrestling

enjoyed bob's book very much especially his strong opinions on Montreal... Heard Meltzer and Bruce Mitchell's pride being swallowed from here when they were forced to give the book a good review

Bruce Hart's book is interesting and worth reading. He does work pretty hard to put himself over as a great wrestling mind though. Comes off as bitter at times, but it's a different take from Bret's and that alone makes it interesting.

Missy's book is pretty gossipy but probably also pretty honest. Read it years ago so it's not too fresh in my mind, but I remember thinking it was entertaining but not particularly deep. About what you'd expect. She pretty much admits she's a ho.

Animal's book was surprisingly good and the best of these three in my opinion. Pretty detailed and kind of a long read, but worth it. He comes off as a good, level-headed dude, and it's a pretty good account of Hawk's life spiraling out of control.

yes the montreal chapter was cool u can tell he really looked up to bret as a wrestler and he still agreed Bret did the wrong thing and he talked about how he hated the way shawn acted earlier in his career but still respected him enough to call him one of the best in ring of all time

I really enjoyed his book I couldnt stop reading I read it in a few days I like how he didnt hold back on anything

agreed bro he didn't hold back on anybody. Shawn caught darts, Bret caught darts. In the end he told it like it was and I respect him for that. He refuses to toe the dirtsheet line on Montreal yet still gets a recommendation from all of em. :salute: bob holly and best of luck in his future endeavors

I'll tell you about a book that you'll almost certainly find disappointing, if you can even find it.

Arn Anderson 4Ever: A Look Behind the Curtain :arn:

Really disappointing because it's full of kayfabe. I'm not saying it's useless because he does talk about some stuff behind the scenes and gives insight on a few personalities, and he does have an interesting life story, but he basically writes as if the matches are real. :heh:

Arn is one of my all-time favorites so I was expecting much better. I don't know what the hell he was thinking.
