I know he made a ton of money and had a top career anyways, but I've heard several different people say Vince wanted to make Sid the next Hogan, and he said he'd rather be a heel

Him stabbing Arn set him back a great deal as well

Sid also didn't want to work events because they coincided with his softball league :snoop:

On a side note, it's pretty weird how Arn didn't receive nearly as big of a fallout from that incident. He's the one who brought the scissors into the fight and stabbed Sid with them too. Sid got all the heat from it though.

Chicago's South Shore
Riccoshyt didn't fumble the bag. The fact that he has this much success despite being a glorified gymnast is a win for him

Yea I mean even if he could be pushed a bit better, WWE basically hired him for the human highlight reel shyt. Nobody there looking at dude as a future World champ

Was the hottest name on the internet in the early to mid 2000's. Could go in the ring and had the family pedigree behind him. WWE even gave him several chances before realizing he was bat shyt crazy. Now he's best known for beating women and wrestling cats in bingo Halls. The first inductee into I fumbled the bag hall of Fame, Teddy Hart.
Came into the thread to say this. Dude was signed to a WWE developmental deal at like 17-18 in like '97. They had him opening shows in dark matches and everything. Got bushed within a year because of attitude issues. Then he was supposed to come in with Harry Smith/Tyson Kidd in '07 and he fukked it up for himself again. :mjlol: He had to be a massive headcase to get fired multiple times with his lineage and athletic ability

this is a good one. Teddy as an on-screen wrestling character was very entertaining. In his most recent run with MLW, his promos were funny as fukk and he would routinely have Davey Boy Jr and Pillman Jr breaking character laughing.

Teddy Hart, the man, is a gigantic piece of shyt.
He’s gotten sooooooo many chances and leeway yet he always find a way to be even scummier

I agree, but there's an entire shoot video on YouTube of Sid telling his side of the story. Vader & Scorpio's accounts pretty much match up with whatever Sid was saying too. Arn has chosen to not address it at all when asked about it. With how much wrestling fans love telling stories from "back in the day", I'm surprised Arn hasn't gotten more shyt from it.
