one of the few modern players to make a Pro Bowl at 2 pos (made it as KR as a rookie), i think hes a 3rd ballot HOF. among active guys i think he/Dre J/Megatron and maybe Reggie Wayne make it. too early for others like Dez and Demaryius

totally forgot Fitz, hes a lock. 2nd ballot if i had to guess

Quan has had an interesting career, id favor him getting in. great right out the gate, and has always been a big contributor. he sacrificed numbers to win a ring, 3 Pro Bowls is low for a HOF, but he could have made it 6 times easily

steve smith does not 'shyt' on hines ward, their stats are relatively similar. ward has more TDs, smith has better yardage and per. plus hines ward was an amazing blocker.

These dudes are both Steelers legends and Super Bowl champs, one a Super Bowl MVP who has all the team receiving records over Swann, Stallworth, etc. AB will break his career records and has broken some single season records already. But come on, Hines might not have been a size/speed freak like Dez or Randy Moss that you all love, but there was nothing he couldn't do as a wide receiver. Made tough catches, took big hits, could go deep, short, or intermediate, put up huge numbers, scored lots of TDs, best blocking WR in the league.. What more do you want? A 4.2 40 and a few extra inches of height?

I mean all of them are borderline hof, and I can understand why people think bettis shouldnt get in...but hating on either of them and saying they suck...is dumb.
Hines ward is likely hated on by people because he was a pest and wasnt really about speed or size. he just played football, ran great routes, blocked out of his ass and did everything he could to let his team win, and had a long career doing it as well. steve smith was a ferocious speed demon, and a different type of WR, but both of them had pretty similar careers
