This here is supa facts, folks either start cutting corners or believe in the system/qb more than actual competent pieces, idk their cap situation but you keep a hill, you go after obj you keep juju because he’s serviceable

Pat has flaws like all, but it ain’t hero ball, that nikka having to do that shyt cuz ain’t no one helping him
Hes facing a reality that a lot of so-called bad quarterbacks face every game. A bad core that can’t get separation puts the quarterbacks in bad situations. His flaws become apparent

This chart makes perfect sense for Minshew. He does not miss open WRs but he's worthless if there's any kind of pressure or in tough situations. Colts have a pretty good o-line and decent weapons so they've been able to hover around .500 ... but he's a limited QB and can't wait until he's gone/on the bench.

Example: Minshew looked like ass yesterday, he was under pressure + Pittman was out injured.
do we have an updated chart here ? this chart is from october 20th, 6 games in
minshew has played like 4 games when this chart was out

Im curious how the chart has changed 14 games in

I’ll try to find it. But Mahomes was such an outlier early on. Looks like he’s falling back to the negative mean.

Team simply cannot have unskilled receivers in a lineup

Mahomes's own flaws are showing up more though

Too much hero ball and reliabce on scrambling instead of just throwing on time with proper mechanics

are you actually watching him play? when the WRs do get open, which isn't close to as often as you would think, they're fukking around and dropping the ball. today is first time in a long time that it was 100% on him, although once again, the WRs did him no favors. there isn't a single QB in the nfl who would look good under center for the chiefs this year.

What's an understated issue as well is that on top of not getting open, the WRs have a low football IQ. Chiefs have lived for years on plays breaking down and the receivers knowing how to read the defense and finding a space for Mahomes to get them the ball. Outside of Kelce the receivers are struggling at that aspect this year and you can tell Mahomes doesn't trust them and will hold the ball even longer. Even today I saw multiple times where MVS just stopped running after the initial route wasn't there. None can be counted on for one on one balls either.

To be fair I'm watching Mahomes put shyt right on these guys hand and they dropping it like a game of hot potatoes. Not to excuse his careless turnovers either

“Hero ball” is another term used exclusively by white neck beards. Mahomes is trying to make a play and looks like his receivers aren’t open. Chiefs messed up trying to recreate 2023 Thrash Stinkton and FedEx. Not gonna work in this league.

The drops weren't the problem today

And speaking in general, Mahomes has not been sharp.

There were drives in that Eagles game before the 4th quarter where he had errant throws.

In the Bills game, after the Kadarious Tony play, Mahomes had some chances to get a first down but failed, including a horrible 4th down pass that no one talks about.

Some of you I'm quoting think I'm just being a hater but I'm not. I'm being honest. Mahomes isn't playing as good as he could be even with the circumstance.

@threattonature

this is a good point you're bringing up, but It is a sign that Mahomes Isn't playing on time. It's not sustainable to expect receivers to all do a good job reading the defense. Not every receiver is going to be Travis Kelce. I also put blame on Andy Reid for thinking that any receivers can fit in an offense where you are playing off-script a lot.

True. The second reaction/"school yard" plays aren't there.

I don’t know about some of you, but when I go to games, I have a completely different view of what’s going on in the field compared to what the tv view you see at home shows.

So many of your judgments in here can be out right wrong about a quarterback, with them either holding onto the ball too long or taking sacks when so many of these receivers are plain douche and can’t get open.

The higher you are on the grid, the more you do after the catch.

Some receivers are plain washed.

Surprised to see DK Metcalf up there in a lack of separation but you see he does a lot once he gets the ball.

There are teams that have shytty receiving cores (Jets, Giants, Broncos, CHIEFS :krs: , Green Bay, Cowboys)

Whats really telling is qb completion percentage when a player is open.

IMG-6078.jpg

Mahomes is the best QB in the league by far. Brock Purdy is overrated as fukk.

Russell and Zach Wilson get a bad rap throwing to bums who can’t get open but hit them at a higher rate when they are open compared to a lot of beloved qbs.

Kirk Cousins and Geno :ehh:

Again…a lot of wack sports talk from most in here who don’t see what’s going on downfield and just swear a qb is ass.

But then again, this is another reason why I feel that being a p*ssy is something that accounts for so much when playing quarterback. When you are skittish bytch, you can’t coach around that. While Derek Carr and Kirk cousins are high up on the list, them being p*ssy is what holds them back.

I honestly rather have a quarterback holds onto the ball too long in the pocket, waiting for his receivers to get open then a skittish bytch who just do garbage check downs, or is outright inaccurate.

When a qb aint a p*ssy, you can coach them up.
shyt is proving itself to show who is who
