if improvement to you means going from complete trash to mid, then cook.
Yeah. And who’s to say it would stop there? What is it about your points? There’s upward and downward trajectory. I don’t get what your points are other than how much you NBA fan style like or dislike someone.

Plain useless

"NBA fan style like or dislike someone" but you're the one making big judgments about QBs over 3 & 6 game sample sizes :dead:

you got it gramps, enjoy your thread

Make a point.

You brought up “sIncE 2o20” as it has anything to do with what is bearing out so far in 2023.

What is the end game other than just playing a role?

Contribute something

That's exagerrated BS.

Allen would comfortably be top 10 in the 2000s. Yall ignore how up and down QBs like Eli, Vick, and even Favre were in the 2000s. I like Warner but even he had some really bad seasons here and there between Super Bowl runs. Palmer also was living off that 05 season for good bit before he went to Arizona.

The only dudes that would be ahead of Allen would just be Tom and Peyton.
Idk why you picked that part of the post. I specifically asked Rebel about the college part :manny:
This was sorta a discussion in the era NFL thread. So it seems like you would agree with the college part being at fault

I don’t know about some of you, but when I go to games, I have a completely different view of what’s going on in the field compared to what the tv view you see at home shows.

So many of your judgments in here can be out right wrong about a quarterback, with them either holding onto the ball too long or taking sacks when so many of these receivers are plain douche and can’t get open.

The higher you are on the grid, the more you do after the catch.

Some receivers are plain washed.

Surprised to see DK Metcalf up there in a lack of separation but you see he does a lot once he gets the ball.

There are teams that have shytty receiving cores (Jets, Giants, Broncos, CHIEFS :krs: , Green Bay, Cowboys)

Whats really telling is qb completion percentage when a player is open.

Mahomes is the best QB in the league by far. Brock Purdy is overrated as fukk.

Russell and Zach Wilson get a bad rap throwing to bums who can’t get open but hit them at a higher rate when they are open compared to a lot of beloved qbs.

Kirk Cousins and Geno :ehh:

Again…a lot of wack sports talk from most in here who don’t see what’s going on downfield and just swear a qb is ass.

But then again, this is another reason why I feel that being a p*ssy is something that accounts for so much when playing quarterback. When you are skittish bytch, you can’t coach around that. While Derek Carr and Kirk cousins are high up on the list, them being p*ssy is what holds them back.

I honestly rather have a quarterback holds onto the ball too long in the pocket, waiting for his receivers to get open then a skittish bytch who just do garbage check downs, or is outright inaccurate.

When a qb aint a p*ssy, you can coach them up.

These charts are fantastic.

I surprised this thread isn't full of people hating on them and calling them nerd shyt. It's obviously analytics, it's obviously not box score stats. Or is that just NBA conversations where analytics aren't supposed to be used?

Like others have said, they're not perfect though. First chart is impacted by scheme as well as by the defenses faced and whether one is the #1/#2/#3 reciever. Second chart is impacted by the length of throws being made and protection. But they're still way more interesting than box score stats.

I just used certain analytics that give a bit of a clearer picture. Unlike the NBA which shows all 10 players on the court, people act as if they know what’s going on the field when all they show is the qb in the pocket and the pass rush.

I leave actual games with a completely different view than those at home. The “he should throw the ball” crowd have me saying “to who? No one was open.”

Next gen analytics fill that void for those not at games.

Kirk Cousins got blamed for a shyty playcall that next gen video clears up.
