Yeah I've heard a few people compare him to Wiz before, funnily enough they came out around the same time (gully in 06, wiz in 05). Gully is more street with it and more technical but he's had a few songs early in his career where he sounded more similar to Wiz as far as the flow.

He might be one of the last newer bay area rappers I check for these days outside of the Mob Figas and their affiliates.

Heard this a few days ago and thought it was solid, have to give it some more spins tho.. he seems like one of the few rappers DJ Fresh works with that can bring out solid wprlfrom him. DJ Fresh has beats but it seems like only certain rappers can pull out his best stuff.. the album/mixtape he did with Yukmouth is his best work..

Definition of Gas is a classic mixtape, it's crazy how long ago that was. I thought he was gon get more shine off that Grant Station project he did... If that had been promoted again the right way when the movie dropped (Fruitvale Station) he would've gotten a lot of love for that project. This new shyt though got me feeling like his window ain't closed yet so who knows
