the first was the only good one and that's the PC version because the gunplay at high frame rates is pretty good plus the driving is much better at higher frames

Watch Dogs 2 is so poorly optimized on PC, its just frustrating to play, but the missions are wack less action oriented, etc

this legion looked like ass from the beginning

This is the problem when you listen to fans cry, the first watch dogs was unfairly hated on because it was a downgrade from the E3 trailer, so it never got a fair shake from the jump, instead of improving upon the good things in the game and polishing it up, they changed the direction of the game, people say watch dogs 2 is better only because the gaming media said it was out the gate, but the game is real boring, I still haven't beat it simply because I get bored everytime I try to go back to it , even when I tested on the 3080 I couldn't play it for more than 20 minutes

Watch Dogs 2 was crack and the living world was among the best in open world games. I believe that Ubisoft doesn’t believe their own products. Watch Dogs 1 was generic as fukk and boring. The problem is most people aren't itching to pay $60+ for an "ok" game so Ubi really needed this to be a bigger critic success

I feel like even the UBI games that score well (80+) are kind of mediocre so when the industry is like "this is below the typical ubisoft game standards" I gotta take that to mean it's trash.

I actually agree with you here. The one thing you can't listen to is the internet and their gut reactions to things. The number one rule of making a product is that the audience doesn't know what they want you have to show them. You allow user feedback to change your mind and you will never make a good product.

Yeah, i agree. I really enjoyed Watchdogs 2 and was hoping for a continuation of that. instead they went fully online and abandon a straight narrative. plus the graphics look like they haven't improved at all.

it does come down to poor taste
they make generic games and people eat them up
I always felt games like AC and Watch Dog were overrated generic garbage
