Dude was facing 36 years for a string of burglaries, a stolen car, and drug possession he managed to get that down to less than a year in Alameda's Juvenile Justice Center at the very least you gotta give the dude credit for putting in the work and turning his life around son is unsigned and still manages to sell out shows worldwide, but still shows love to the hood
That "I Am the Hood" video was shot in Tenderloin San Francisco which is one of the worst hoods in San Francisco and this was at the height of all the pretty bytch controversy, dude was out there with no security and gave people a visual of real hood life in the Bay, you gotta respect that few artist would be willing to do that today.
