- to hear the whole project as it was intended
- to get the digital booklet

You can still "hear the whole project as it was intended" by streaming the whole thing, but I understand your point.

"Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it" is a line that I'll always live by and judge fans by for that very reason.

its an experience, just like going to movie theater. True fans enjoy opening and CD and seeing the liner notes, artwork, credits...etc.

The digital versions have booklets too.

I get that. I know people who still buy vinyl or go searching for classic records because it's somewhat of a journey. That's cool. Even still, both of you have to admit that you're in the minority on this.

The average fan hasn't bought albums in almost a decade. Even before that you'd have to go back to pre-2005ish (before high-speed internet and CD burners were widely available) to find people that were buying the hell out of physical albums.

That's fair to say...

...but the fact is, the "minority" is still enough people who buy physical albums for the top albums of the year
to go platinum or gold off of just physicals, like the top albums of yesteryear...which is enough of people in the
"majority" (such as yourself) to wonder how this is.

I was never buying the music, I wanted the booklet inside. I bought albums till a few years ago. Everyone does digital releases. I'd still buy albums if they were being pressed physically

No, physicals aren't available. They got listed as coming up a few weeks after the release by some vendors but never dropped.

You guys should wait for Drake to actually flop. Trying to force the issue :mjlol: You know the nicca doing 1 mil first week next album cycle. Nobody else moving units like him with a mid cycle project less than a year after his last one, no physicals, no videos :umad:

And still the most consumed artist in music  If I bring up the world wide stats too yall gonna be mad so I'll chill.

Drake is the #1 album-charting artist on Billboard Top 200 for 2017

Year end charts for artists (only behind Bruno Mars/ Ed Sheeran)

Top Artists - Year-End 2017

The back catalogue still charting unlike most artists who's shyt comes and goes. :ahh:

Remember when nikkas like beans and jada used to sell 800k an album and nikkas was like "when they gone blow" now the highest selling rapper moves 800k

I remember that shyt. A Neptunes beat and random plays on radio for a no name rapper could have sold him over 500k back in the early 00s.

Streaming is cheating. Buying the physical or digital copy is the real sign someone is using money to buy your product

Shame the demand wasn't there :ld:

You guys just hate for a hobby. There was no demand for physicals of one of the highest selling albums in the world 2017.

Dude just through the music out digital and cashed out. No millions on multiple videos. Dude was actually on world tour when sh*t dropped too.
