My father knows how to cook. So do many male members of my family. If a grown man doesn't know how to cook, I'm going to side eye you. especially if you live alone and ESP if you are West Indie. There are too many resources out there for anyone to not know how to cook. BTW, my married friends are island women.

If she was willing to make an effort sure why not. I've had girlfriends who flat out admitted they didn't know how to cook, but they were still in the kitchen trying their best. That's perfectly fine.
