Greed fukked Godfather III. Pacino was a top billed actor which is understandable, but Robert Duvall demanded equal salary. The studio refused so Duvall decided not to be in the film. The original script idea was about Michael and Tom having a falling out/proxy war, with Michael's son (an ambassador or senato visiting a South American country) caught in the middle.

I wouldn't blame it on Pacino bt damn I wish he had just said fukk it, give me a pay cut just to get Duvall on board.
