Nah, I wouldn't change the name but I thought about changing the spelling of it. I've actually been spelling it wrong my entire life. I looked really closely at my ss card/birth certificate a year or 2 ago and realized I was adding an extra letter this entire time :snoop:

I wanted to get it legally changed to the way I was spelling it before since I was already used to it but now I think the original spelling is a lot cuter :arrogant: I love my name.
That's how my middle name is. :snoop: I spell it Rafil (pronounced Raphael), but on my SS it's spelled Raf.I.L :snoop:

I changed mine several years ago. I haven't looked back. :smugbiden:Easy process, reasonable turn around..good 2 go. I know the general process in a few states (varies by county sometimes), questions are welcome.

Nope.
For what? By the time I got to the age where I could I had grown to love it. So not under any normal circumstances no.

I can't imagine myself with a different first name, so I wouldn't change that and even though I didn't have a Nigerian upbringing, it's part of my heritage so I would never change that.

I'm named exactly after my dad except I have a middle name and he doesn't. I thought about donning my middle name as my first name but i feel that would be low key ether to him, I'm proud to have his name anyway :to:
