That's how my middle name is. I spell it Rafil (pronounced Raphael), but on my SS it's spelled Raf.I.LNah, I wouldn't change the name but I thought about changing the spelling of it. I've actually been spelling it wrong my entire life. I looked really closely at my ss card/birth certificate a year or 2 ago and realized I was adding an extra letter this entire time
I wanted to get it legally changed to the way I was spelling it before since I was already used to it but now I think the original spelling is a lot cuter :arrogant: I love my name.

I changed mine several years ago. I haven't looked back. Easy process, reasonable turn around..good 2 go. I know the general process in a few states (varies by county sometimes), questions are welcome.
Cultural reasons. My middle and last name were European (and very common) and I am neither.My main question is why did you do it?
