Done.
Personally, I wouldn't. My name is too unique and has too much gusto. Although I'm used to having people butcher it all the time. I have a really Nigerian name and I'm the only person in the United States with it (I looked it up).
But yea, because of it I've definitely had problems seeking employment. Even when I was working at a call center, my boss suggested that I should use a different name like "Timothy" or some other American Anglicized name so I "didn't scare off customers" (I was dealing with mostly older white people on the phone) and "put them at ease". After that I threw that job in the bushes that shyt didn't pay anything anyways.
F*ck you. I love my name and just because some xenophobic people don't like it is no reason why I should change it even for a job. My parents gave me that name and they would be heartbroken to see their legacy erased by my own doing just to be "more accepted" in American sucksiety.
