OK I used to skip breakfast. Up at 5am, so lunch was a necessity.

I don't see how you weren't starving with no breakfast and doing labor.

Big dinner in those days. I would be on the road with no washroom access or working in people's homes so I just tried to minimize public washroom use.

Definitely. The only way to guarantee your food will actually be fresh and done correctly is when they first open/transition to lunch.
